New to the Church

Hello to you if you have found us, whether you are searching or exploring what it means to be a Christian, have questions about Jesus and God, what is faith or are wanting to check us out, perhaps you are already a Christian looking for your new church family- whatever the reason you are here, you are welcome.

Coming to a worship service in a new church can be a little daunting but hopefully we'll provide you with sufficient information to put you at ease and to feel welcomed.

I’m new and I'm visiting the church for the first time. What should I expect ?

Attending a Sunday Service

The church doors will be open from 9.30am and the service commences at 10am which will go for approximately 60 minutes.

You will be welcomed and will be provided with a pew (information) sheet.

During this time of COVID there are no restrictions or requirements and the wearing of masks is an individual choice.

Feel free to sit where you wish in the church and you will not be asked to engage in the service (talking or singing) unless you wish to.

You do not need to bring anything or give anything, but if you wish to leave a money offering for the work of the church, a bowl will be brought around during the Offering segment during the service.

The service is presented on 2 large screens in the church to assist all, including those with a visual impairment.

Clothing is casual.

Children in Church

Our congregation welcomes children and so if you are bringing your own, we have a children's dedicated space in the church with tables, chairs and activities and toys, especially for little ones who may wish to stay in the church rather than go out to our children's program (Electra-lights) which runs during school terms. Children can wonder safely in the church (under your supervision- just in case of lit candles and other dangers).
